It’s been way too long, and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present than your presence.

FIVE FINAL THINGS:

If for some reason you are not able to come or will be late - I’d appreciate you communicating it as soon as you know. This is a wedding-level planning affair, and my team have been saints and have worked very hard to communicate proactively with all of us - so please don’t have them looking for you on Saturday.
The logistics page has all the details (the password is the same: Queen). The most important one? Ciel Creative Space is a large building, so you want to enter on the 935 Carleton Street side. Be sure to set your GPS and/or ride sharing app to this address, not the one that’s defaulted on Google maps.
Meryenda (“Brunch” in Filipino) and Dinner will be served and it’s going to be yummy! We have done our best to accommodate your food preferences / allergies - but if you aren’t sure if you’ll be able to consume what we have, feel free to bring your own sustenance.
Come with zero expectations but to have fun and meet cool fucking people. Period. You won’t have to worry if you have to have small talk conversations. I don’t do those. I’m a social introvert who would never put you in a position to talk about belly lint. It’s ok to be awkward AND regular. Get an idea of who will be in the room in our Femmefluence Digital Yearbook.

“STUN AS YOU ARE”

This is the time to show off your personal style. If you prefer to wear comfy shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt by all means! If you’re more of a business casual person - a blazer, slacks, and stilettos will totally work. Digging a flowy dress with some flats and statement jewelry? SAY LESS.

COCKTAIL ATTIRE

DON’T BE INTIMIDATED, COME AS YOURSELF! :) This portion of the event can be semi-formal, aka Cocktail Attire. Think of it as elegant, with lush fabrics and statement jewelry. Definitely bring that one clutch/bag you’d wear to a fancy night out and shoes that will be a crowd favorite! If dresses and heels aren’t your thing, we’d recommend a stand-out jumpsuit and some stylish sandals to pair.

GLAM ROOM

We will have a Glam Room set up for those who prefer not to go back to their hotel/home between Forum & Table because NOBODY (Well, some people don’t) GOT TIME FOR THAT! We’ve got what you need to get ready for the big night. With that being said, please bring your Femmefluence Table outfit, makeup, & hair tools to Femmefluence Forum and we’ll set you up for an easy transition between day and night.

FYI

Traffic on Saturdays are usually pretty chill, but because Berkeley is a few exits from the famous Bay Bridge, it can take longer than the length in miles looks on Google maps. Use the Waze app to estimate times for departure and arrival to the event. If you’re not staying at one of our recommended hotels, expect to need at least 45 minutes or more from any point in the central Bay Area by car.
